You are also going to need to understand how to resolve application issues such as PC program compatibility issues, host system issues, data service issues, and connectivity problems. This is just a few of the many different problems that can occur on a daily basis.

As a mcse consultant, you will work on implementing projects. So you can even work as an independent consultant. This means you will find companies on your own and work on a per project basis. There are so many companies out there that need expert help on getting their projects started. And this is where you will come in. They will hire you to get their project started. It's a great way to make a nice living, and you are working for yourself.

There are good things and bad things about working as an independent mcse consultant. Bad is you need to find the work, and good is that you are making a hell of a lot more money. So you need to way out your options. If you know you can find the work that by all means begin working for yourself. But remember working for yourself will mean much more responsibilities. There will be the business work that you will need to tend to as well as the actual work you will be doing. It's a small price to pay for such a rewarding career. Again, you should sit down and write the advantages and disadvantages to working for yourself verses working for a company.
