MCSE Entry Level Jobs

Before you run out and begin spend a large sum of money on getting your mcse certification and expect to get a mcse entry level position you need to read this. There has been so much hype regarding this IT job, and a few years ago everything they were saying was true. But as of now the salary for mcse entry level position is down from the year before, as well as the year before that. This doesn't mean that you can't make any sort of money in this job, but the signs are there. At one point this mcse entry level jobs were paying $60,000 to $80,000 a year.

I know those radio and television commercials make it sound so appealing, and if you search on the internet about mcse certifications there will be a slew of information that will come up for training courses. What's happening is that they are overselling the benefits of the certification. In theory they are correct but it's just not as simple as they make it out to be.

This is how it works. In order to get a mcse entry level job you need experience, but without experience you are not able to get a job. And if you just have your certification that doesn't substitute the fact that you don't have a job. So what do you do. Well you are forced to take a low paying job in the field to gain the experience that you need, and then fork over ton's of money to get the training that you are going to need. The training is necessary, it will help to prepare you for the exam.

So if you have been thinking about beginning your career in the IT world, and was looking to become a Microsoft Certified System Engineer I think you should begin looking a bit more into it. The mcse entry level positions just don't exist like they use to. You do have other options.

If you still want to get your certification in this field then you need to begin searching for any type of job that you can get in the field, help desk jobs are usually the easiest to get if you already have some sort of knowledge.

And once you have at least six months of working experience you should look into some of the certification training courses. You can take an online course or classroom classes at one of the local colleges in your area.
